Patch 0.3 in testing phase - 2v2 Team Battles
TLDR;
I have a major 2v2 Team Battle and QOL update I'm going to do private testing for. I won't make the update public on itch.io till the bugs are cleared and performance is improved for 4 player online matches.
The current itch.io build - alpha0.264 will still have its match making server active during the 0.3 testing period but it will be shut down and replaced with a new match making server compatible with patch 0.3 when the patch passes it's tests and is made public on itch. I will put out a notification when this happens.

I've been really busy!
I got my Game Studio LLC registered so I can put this game on Steam very soon.
I have been hard at work improving the online lobby system to support more than 2 players.
There were also a lot of improvements made over all for quality of life.
- Online/Local multiplayer Lobbies now have a setup screen to pick the map, game mode, and set player teams
- Lobbies can have more than 2 players in them. I'm settling on 4 as the max for performance reasons
- You can now queue up in online lobbies with 2 local players in online split-screen play
- The Mech assembly screen has been improved to work with mouse and controllers.
- You can name and save and load mech builds from the assembly screen
- the local Multiplayer Assembly screen has a "Training Mode" option to do target practice at. you can also customize the player 2 mech with a second controller and use it's build for target practice. good for bench marking stats later.
- The match replay system has be re-implemented
- 1v1 matches are now recorded and can be replayed form the replay menu in the main screen
- machine gun bullet damage has buffed from 60 to 85
- Shotgun shell damage ahs been buffed form 120 to 160
- mouse aim has proper logic to limit turn speeds to match controller turn speeds exactly.
- mouse aim sensitivity has a calibration feature if you roll the scroll wheel up for less sensitivity and down for higher sensitivity. lower sensitivity gets you finer incremental aiming to more smoothly micro adjust aim on mouse. but it does not make your mech turn faster at high sensitivity than a controller player.
- A Successful weapon hit will ping a 'HIT' notification on screen to confirm you landed your attack
- A quick turn mechanic has been added. if you short hop and land with your boosters off you can quickly turn in any direction. this can be used to do a quick 180 to face an opponent behind you.
- The radar will now change color as well as change size to signify if an enemy is above or below
- The radar will now be visible on both local players in all split-screen modes.
